Cabernet Sauvignon | Red Mountain AVA
Rocking levels of cassis, blueberries, leafy herbs, graphite, and violets emerge from the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Curiositas, a rich, full-bodied barrel sample with ripe, building tannins, terrific balance, and a great finish. This is classic, impeccably made Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon that will drink well with just a few years of bottle age but keep for two decades.

Following up on the 2018 vintage of this wine which was outstanding in every way, The Walls does it again with the 2019 vintage. This wine should make any Red Mountain Cabernet lover extremely happy. What I love about Todd’s wines is that they are all just so phenomenally drinkable and balanced. The wine glides over your tongue and there are no rough edges at all. Perfectly balanced acidity, tannins, fruit, and alcohol – creating some of the best wines in Washington if not the entire US. Notes of blackberry, boysenberry, mocha powder, wild mountain sage, pencil shavings, and lavender express perfectly on the nose and on the palate. Give it a few years to age into perfection and then drink it over the next 10-15 years. Highly recommended.
